I was recently asked by the very talented photographer Rebecca Lindon ( to work with her on an autumnal wedding photo shoot she was putting together. As soon as I heard that pumpkins were going to be involved it piqued my interest and I was in! We met up in North Norfolk on a warm late September morning and Rebecca had two different looks in mind so I started creating the first look on the beautiful model Eleanor. Rebecca wanted a very soft romantic fishtail plait with berries and flowers woven in and a minimalist make-up. I rollered Eleanor’s hair to maximise her rich red tresses and then did a very loose asymmetrical plait. The dress she wore for the first look was amazing, vintage, gold, lace and figure hugging. This look was shot in the garden and a near by meadow. The hazy sunlight added to the softness of the look and Rebecca uses a film camera rather than digital and that added a certain uniqueness to the finished photographs. The second look was half up half down, boho waves. Again I rollered Eleanor’s hair and loosely pinned up sections on the top and added a knotted detail to the sides. Then we went to the pumpkin farm! The colour was just awesome, with the big Norfolk sky and the sea of orange it was stunning. If you would like to see a little snapshot of the shoot then take a look at the video link below. Some of Rebecca’s photographs are at the end. Enjoy x
