Wow what a stunning bride, this wedding will stick in my memory for that very reason! Lucy had the most amazing 1940’s style dress with a peplum and plunging back by Cymbeline. She also had a beautiful head piece with silk flowers and a birdcage veil. She was getting ready at The Gatehouse at Hales Hall and could see The Great Barn from the living room window, so only a short walk to the ceremony. Lucy had four bridesmaids and her mum with her so I took my friend and colleague Sarah along to do the make up and I did the hair. We started at 7.30 am ready for a 2pm wedding. Hales Hall is so picturesque and the Great Barn was breathe taking. Lucy had a beach theme and had made loads of pin wheels to decorate the barn. we tried numerous hair styles and the trial and she opted for an elegant mid bun/knot, with a little height on top but the main feature was her gorgeous headpiece. Her make up was understated and classic beauty. Opting for a dewy finish to her base and muted tones on the eyes with a satin look. A few individual lashes to added a bit of depth to the eye and nude lips.
