One of my favourite venues, Hengrave Hall was the back drop for a fabulous wedding for Tess & Jan in July this year. The sun shone and it was stunning. I arrived at 7.30am to help Tess, her mum and her three bridesmaids get ready for the big day. I will remember the morning well as one of the bridesmaids was in charge of the music and it was all blues, my favourite. It was very relaxed, calm and great fun being with these lovely ladies.
The bridesmaids had very delicate flower rings for their hair, made by Ellen Newman Florist from Bildeston. They wanted halo plaits to add symmetry to the flowers, finishing in a low knot at the nape of their neck. The bride was having gypsophila in her hair so opted for a low messy bun with the flowers arcing centrally over the chignon. The brides make up was neutral on the eyes and a strong lip colour.
We started the morning in one of the cottages on site and then moved into the Hall later. We were in the Queen Elizabeth I Suite. Looking out over the croquet lawn. The wonderful Lizzie arrived (the photographer) www.elizabethloisphotography.co.uk Thank you for the use of her photographs.
