Well it was an early start for this wedding party, 7am the rollers were on and warming up and the bride was just finishing her shower. I got set up in the Cathedral Suite at the Maids Head Hotel in Norwich (www.maidsheadhotel.co.uk) . I started with Nancy the mother of Andy the Groom. She had a blow-dry and her make-up was classic with a few false lashes to add a touch of glamour. She was wearing a blue/green Jaques Vert dress and Jacket. Then the mother of the bride, she was having a side swept half up half down curly do. Her make-up was MAC foundation and understated eyes. Nat the Bridesmaid had a short bob haircut but wanted me to put it up in a low chignon with paper flowers detail. She had an orange dress and so we complimented this with gold eyeshadows. Kali the flower girl had a half up half down with plait detail and three little paper flowers at the back. The main event was of course Mel the bride, she had a half up half down hairstyle with small plaits either side at the temple with tiny paper roses. I used MAC studio fix foundation and MAC translucent powder. She went for gold glitter eyeshadow and MAC ‘enriched red’ lip pencil with gloss to finish. The photographer Daniel www.lighteningphotography.co.uk was on hand from 8am to capture all those little memories. The sky was clear blue and the sun was warm, they were going to the cathedral grounds for photographs after the 1.30pm ceremony. Mel got into her dress with her mum and sister to help her, her shoes were an amazing burnt orange and a friend of hers had beaded her a clutch bag to match. I left her at about 1pm as she was speaking to the registrar. They all looked amazing and were ready for a fabulous day.
